OfferBrief provides informational analysis for job offers. It is not legal, tax, financial, immigration, employment, or career coaching advice.

Salary benchmarks are estimates based on public BLS OEWS wage data and role-to-SOC mapping. They may not reflect a specific employer, level, industry, equity package, bonus plan, or local labor market nuance. You should verify compensation with official sources and trusted advisors.

Red-flag detection is not a legal review. If your offer includes restrictive covenants, repayment obligations, arbitration terms, equity plans, immigration sponsorship, or unusual termination language, consult a qualified professional before signing. Non-compete and related restrictive covenant rules vary by state and can change over time.

You may not submit confidential third-party information that you do not have permission to process. Use the service only for lawful, personal evaluation of your own job offer.

Public occupation context may reference O*NET information and official BLS sources. OfferBrief is not endorsed by the U.S. Department of Labor, O*NET, or BLS.

Optional H-1B Offer Negotiation Kit

OfferBrief may offer a general digital product called the H-1B Offer Negotiation Kit through Gumroad. The paid product exists only when OfferBrief displays a live checkout and you intentionally complete an order. A free preview, intake form, waitlist entry, or hand-reviewed brief request does not create a purchase or authorize a charge.

If displayed, the US$19 founding price is a one-time payment for immediate access to the digital download through Gumroad after confirmed payment. It does not include a personalized offer review, individualized wage or employer research, legal review, attorney-client relationship, coaching call, email consultation, or outcome guarantee. Any examples, checklists, scripts, and worksheets in the kit are general educational materials that you must adapt and verify for your own circumstances.

A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the kit. You may not resell, redistribute, publish, sublicense, or make the files available to others. The founding price may be changed or withdrawn for future orders, but a completed order keeps the price shown at checkout.

Digital delivery and refunds

Gumroad is expected to make the download available immediately after it confirms payment. If a completed order does not provide access, contact hello@offerbrief.io with the Gumroad order reference. OfferBrief will restore access or, if it cannot provide the purchased files, refund the amount paid. Duplicate charges and materially defective or incomplete files will be corrected, replaced, or refunded as appropriate. Gumroad's payment, download, and refund processes also apply.

Because the kit is a digital product delivered immediately, a change of mind, a different interpretation of the material, an employer response, a negotiation result, a filing or visa result, or a later change in public data does not by itself qualify for a refund, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Separate early-access brief experiment

The hand-reviewed H-1B Offer Brief is a separate early-access experiment and is not included with the H-1B Offer Negotiation Kit. Personalized requests submitted during free early access remain free under the scope communicated when they were submitted; OfferBrief will not retroactively charge them. Buying the kit does not place a personalized brief request, and requesting a brief does not buy the kit.
